On the rainy day of Saturday 23rd of April 2011, I went to Grand Central to check out the Earth Day events. In Vanderbilt street, about 30 or more green friendly organizations were present and holding stalls, giving some samples of food and drinks. Unfortunately there were no many people there certainly because of the heavy rain. I tasted no less than 10 kinds of tea and 4 or 5 some bars of cereals for free.
Inside Grand Central, in Vanderbilt Hall, there were also stalls, exhibitions, and the organizers of the event urging people to sign up petitions as well as talented performers.
